About the
Tourism 4.0 Partnership
Inspired by the idea that even small actions can create systemic change, the Tourism 4.0 Partnership was established in 2018. Initiated by Arctur, in collaboration with leading Slovenian universities, the partnership was created to bring research, technological innovation and data-driven thinking into tourism development.
Today, it connects members across Europe and beyond — including researchers, destinations, technology providers, cultural organisations and policy makers. United by a shared belief that tourism can contribute meaningfully to the Sustainable Development Goals, the partnership promotes measurable impact, responsible governance and collaborative innovation.
We believe that tourism should not only grow — it should evolve intelligently, inclusively and sustainably.
