Arctur at the Cross-Re-Tour Show & Share Event in Malta
24.04.2026SparksFrom 20 to 22 April, Arctur took part in the Cross-Re-Tour Show & Share event in Malta, the final event of the Cross-Re-Tour project.
The event brought together project partners, tourism SMEs, tourism stakeholders, media and other participants from across Europe. Its main purpose was to present the outcomes of the innovative projects supported through the Open Innovation Programme, with a focus on the green and digital transformation of the tourism sector.
Over the three days, the programme included a welcome gathering, partner insights, project exhibitions, networking opportunities and site visits to sustainable tourism examples in Malta. Each supported SME had the opportunity to present its journey, share results and connect with other stakeholders from the tourism ecosystem.
As the Slovenian partner in Cross-Re-Tour, we were especially proud to see our Slovenian SMEs present their work in an international setting. Their projects showed creativity, commitment and a strong understanding of how tourism can become more sustainable, digital and circular in practice.
A special highlight for Slovenia was the recognition received by “Take Your Butt With You”, a project led by Maristra in cooperation with Okolje Piran and the YouSea Institute, which was selected as the most popular project among more than 80 presented initiatives.
We are proud of all our SMEs and grateful for the opportunity to support them throughout this journey. The event in Malta was a valuable moment to celebrate their achievements, exchange ideas with partners and see how Cross-Re-Tour has helped turn innovative ideas into real impact.
