Capturing Voices Behind SECreTour: From Pilots to Work Package Leaders

Within the SECreTour project, a series of short video interviews is being developed as part of promotional activities led by Arctur, one of the SECreTour project partners. The interviews first focused on pilot leaders from different regions across Europe, capturing their local stories and experiences, and are now continuing with Work Package leaders, bringing in a broader project perspective.

Published on the project’s YouTube channel, these interviews offer accessible and engaging insights into the people behind SECreTour. While pilot interviews highlight local stories, heritage practices, and community-driven initiatives, the WP leader interviews focus more on coordination, methodologies, and the overall direction of the project - together creating a connected narrative between local action and project-level thinking.

Through these conversations, it becomes clearer how different parts of the project contribute to developing innovative approaches to cultural tourism - from new business models and digital tools to long-term sustainability and impact. At the same time, the interviews reveal collaboration between partners, shared challenges, and a common ambition to strengthen heritage-based tourism in rural and remote areas.

By bringing together voices from both local pilots and project leaders, the video series offers a concise yet multi-layered view of how cultural heritage, community engagement, and innovation can support more sustainable and meaningful tourism development. More interviews will be published soon.
