Postcards That Bring Danube Stories to Life

Within the IBC project, we are creating a series of interactive postcards that connect cultural heritage, local stories, and digital innovation.

Each postcard presents a story from the Danube region through a carefully chosen 3D object. By scanning the QR code, visitors will be able to open a holographic experience and discover the story in a more immersive way.

The postcards are arranged into three thematic packages:

• Life on the Border
• Legends of River and Landscape
• Communities, Craft and Heritage

Together, they reveal different layers of the Danube region: borders that shaped people’s lives, rivers and landscapes filled with legends, and communities that preserve their identity through crafts, food, traditions, and memory.

Short videos are also being prepared for each package, bringing the stories together in a dynamic visual format.

We are now finalising the production process and can’t wait to hold the printed postcards in our hands — and to share these stories with partners, local communities, and visitors.
